  • Q: What is your company's mission?

    A: Our mission at DASA Services is to enable our clients to excel at today's career transition while teaching life skills for managing careers into the future.

  • Q: Do you specialize in certain industries or professions?

    A: We know from experience a successful job search is accomplished through preparation, planning, and execution of a well-conceived process. We are experts in these things and have applied our expertise with great success to such industries as Manufacturing, Financial Services [Banking, Mortgage, Insurance], Health Care, Retail, Agriculture, Law, Consulting, Defense, Aerospace and Architecture. Within those industries we work with a highly diverse set of professions including executives, managers, engineers, accountants, HR professionals, consultants, systems professionals, salespeople, buyers, architects, archivists and even a corn breeder once.

  • Q: What do you charge for your services?

    A: We don't post a fee schedule because we find everyone's needs are different. So, the first thing we do is meet with you [at no charge, by the way] and find out what you really need. Then we put together a written proposal covering just those needs--no fluff. You will know exactly what you will get for a modest investment in yourself and your future.

  • Q: What types of administrative support do you provide?

    A: We can do all manner of word processing like making a beautiful resume or creating cover letters having great impact. We know how to format documents so recruiters and employers will take notice, and find everything they need where it should be. We also know how to create documents that upload properly onto websites. Need a Power Point presentation or a large-volume mailing? We can do it.

  • Q: Do I have to come to your office for services?

    A: For our initial meeting, we will meet with you in person at a mutually convenient location, or by phone if you prefer. After that we find almost every need can be handled conveniently and effectively by e-mail and telephone.

  • Q: Will you get me a job?

    A: The short, honest answer is "no." The truth is you have to do that part yourself, no matter what anyone tells you. What we will do is provide you with tools, techniques and support that typically make the search go faster and achieve better results.

  • Q: How long will it take me to get re-employed?

    A: The investment in DASA-Services can have a nice payoff. There is a long-lived rule of thumb recruiters will tell you, "It takes a month of searching for every ten thousand dollars in salary you are seeking." We know that candidates who effectively use the tools and techniques we offer will, on average, beat that timeline substantially.

    A: Yes! If you're not fully satisfied that we have delivered what was agreed, we will refund your investment or continue our work together until you are fully satisfied.
